Sewer line got blocked last night. Has happened before near the cleanup. Had them come and run the line today... kid runs it all the way into the main sewer. I kept telling him "The main line is right over there, you'll hit it." Starts to retrieve it and is struggling. Machine keeps straining the pipe and getting pulled to it. His line snaps...
Its from my clean out all the way to the main line (in my side yard) where the bulk of it is coiled up below.
"Supervisor" is coming tonight to retrieve the cable. First he offered to come 24 hours later and we pushed back. Can't use any plumbing.
I stated that I expected them to scope for any new damage. I expect him to push back and ask for proof of the line's previous condition. We may actually have the previous video. All I want is to see if they caused new damage. There was a point where the kid worked it pretty hard. I wouldn't have asked if he hadn't broken his machine in my line.
Thoughts on this? Super unimpressed with any urgency.
