Floor drain backing up - help
Post Body

My floor drain has backed up, several times. I moved into my house in October 2020.

Throughout 2021 had a few clogs, always had plumbers come in, push the drain out, pull nothing back but they "felt" the clog get pushed through. 2022, had a different plumbing company take me over the coals because they were union and had a plumber and assistant plumber clean same story.

They took a camera and found several areas with tree roots. I felt their estimate was expensive so I went to a third plumbing company to take care of it and they did. I was told tree roots won't be a problem for several years but should have it looked it every other just to be sure.

Still having clogs. One plumber suggested that our toilets didn't have enough flow going out. So I got two brand new toilets that advertised it can flush pool balls. Either way it flushed very well.

Still clogs. The last guy said he thinks the clog happens at the "elbow". My floor drain just backed up today and a plumber is coming out tomorrow morning/afternoon.

The camera said nothing else except the tree roots. But it took all of three months for a clog to happen.

2022 I spent about 2500$ on this and I am pissed about it and at my wits end. Any advice?
