Help me understand the Nominal Diameter system (US)
Post Body
Currently studying at a trade school in New York. I am having a hard time understanding the sizing system, like what is ID and OD and how are they related to nominal diameters, I also noticed that different types of Pipes and Tubes have relative sizes, so one inch copper is not the same as on inch PEX. Is there a table for all the sizes and patterns, or do i have to actually memories every size. Any information is appreciated.
