Fake or no?

I started talking to a girl on PoF, and it tells me she's either 2 or 3 miles away from me, depending on if I'm at work or at home. But after talking to her, she said she lives an hour and a half away from me. Is this even possible? She claims she's not very good at using the app, but I feel like its some sort of scam. Shes not asked me for money or anything besides a picture. Is this even possible with this app? Or could it be an honest mistake? Please help!
