Hi,

I got a new acer computer and have installed plex for Windows on it. I run a Plex Media Server on a macbook air and store movies on an external drive. The Plex on Windows is just the app.

The app won't play video consistently. I hit play and it moves forward one frame and then stops. Sometimes (and I don't know how to prompt this) it does play but when I pause it and try to start again, it goes back to only playing one frame forward and then stopping.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I tried uninstalling and then rebooting when when I reinstalled, it already had me logged in. If there's an issue in the install, I don't know how to clear it.

What could be the problem? Is it the new computer? Is it something with the install? How can I clear it?
