Hi all,
Im asking some questions in other posts about re-encode x264 to x265 because of the storage difference.
But somehow in every post i get the same answer - DONT DO IT-
Why do i see so many people online talking about recode x264 to x265 but when i ask for some help people always advise me not to do it?
Ofcourse, i know its better to get x265 directly, but i already have such a big libary that it is not able for me to get everything again in x265. I am dependent with foreign subtitles and everything what is in my libary right now is 100% sync.
And i dont know how, but i really really dont see a difference between a 4gb x264 and a 2gb x265 file.
What am i missing or doing wrong?
I have basic settings in handbrake; - X265 RF 22 audio/subs passthrough
Cheers all!
