How do you delete a playlist using the Plex API?

I've been playing around with the Plex API for handling playlists.
I can list all the playlists:
curl "http://127.0.0.1:32400/playlists/all/?X-Plex-Token=abcdefghijklmnopqrst"
I can view the songs in a specific playlist (with key 107917):
curl "http://127.0.0.1:32400/playlists/107917/items/?X-Plex-Token=abcdefghijklmnopqrst"
However I cannot find any documentation (or examples) which clearly articulate how to delete a playlist. I thought that replacing items with delete would be obvious, but that gave me a 404.
How do I do this?
