Post Body

Hi guys! Im thinking about buying one of those Lenovo thinkpads or Dell optiplex to run as a PMS. They all have the i3 9100(T) instead of the normal 9100. Iโ€™m worried about the (T). They both have the UHD 630 IGPU Does is effect the HW transcoding? Do i really need the T or the normal? Ive got 15-20 users on my DS 918 (J3455 celeron) I noticed that I need more than 10 1080 transcode, also for the future. I donโ€™t have any 256 or 4K.

For instant upgrade I put 16/32GB in the machine for ramdisk transcoding And I put a nvme for the metadata/install

On topic - Does the (T) effect quicksync/HW transcoding?

Cheers!
