Post Body

Hi guys! Right now I’ve got my PMS on the DS918 but i found out that the J3455 celeron isn’t really strong enough for all my clients. So I have a couple of options: - I can invest in a NUC with the iris plus IGPU - I can invest in a brand new GPU for my (old) file server.

Ive got a fractical XL case with an AMD A10-5800k CPU. Yeah really old I know. But can I buy a great GPU that can handle all the streams? Or is the CPU also an ‘important’ hardware for plex?

I do have a couple of clients that have direct play. But when three people are using a freaking’ chromecast the J3455 from the NAS is having a difficult time.

Like to hear from you guys!
