I have a Mibox mediaplayer, its the Xiaomi Mi Box S (EU).
I have it for a while now, /- 8 months? And it never failed me.
However, i cant figure out why some movies don't play smooth on the box.
Yes all the configuration is right, video quality on maximum, homestreaming on maximum, streaming from distance on maximum, 'play smaller video's as originale' is on.
So i dont think thats the point?

I have an example, its the movie called 'The Hobbit, The Desolation of Smaug'
Its a 25.25GB mkv. file H264 codec with 17835kbs bitrate and 7.1 DTS-HD MA.
It has PGS subtitles but i always download plain .srt subs (force) so it doesnt need to transcode.

The movie works fine when i play it on the follow clients;
Chrome web client (see photo)
Plex IOS app (see photo)
And when I cast the movie - from the plex IOS app - to the Mi Box

But the movie doesnt work when i play from the Mi Box itself. I get weird green pixels on the screen and sometimes the sound stuttering.

I have a 750/750Mb/s ISP contract, so its definitly not a internet issue.
