Hi guys! First of all, merry Christmas to everyone! So let me tell you the basics; I’ve got a Plex server running in my DS918 Slot 1 = 8TB Slot 2 = 4TB Slot 3 (was 2TB, now after shuck = 10TB) Slot 4 = SSD 512GB

So I removed slot 3 (2TB) and insert my new shuck drive, which was successful detected. But I reallllly forgot how to place the old data from the 2TB on my new shuck drive.

I’ve got a Ewent EW 7017 cable, but the old slot 3 drive does not recognize it on my PC. When I put an SSD drive in the Ewent cable it does pop up on my computer. My thoughts was to put the old slot 3 drive with the Ewent cable in my PC and transfer all the data to the new shuck drive on my NAS. But, once again, my PC does not recognize the old slot 3 drive.

The cable it not broken because it works on the SSD drive. I’ve restarted my PC with the old HDD drive in the cable, but still no recognizing.

Any thoughts or tips? Is it possible to eject slot 4 (SSD drive) and put the old drive in and transfer it all to slot 3? I’m afraid that I’m losing stuff that are on the SSD drive, I’ve got all the .exe files and cache files on it.

Like to hear from you guys! Happy holidays and Christmas!
