Hi guys! Some content in my collection are bigger rips, think about Marvel, LOTR etc. Big movies. ( /- 15-40gb) But i notice that some clients are having trouble playing this. If you see the image, this means that it needs to transcode/convert the audio right? Because i know that all the clients of my streamers are compatible with mp4/mkv/.264 Is it easy to convert the trueHD or 7.1 to the basics standard? (And how is it the easiest way?) Ive got a ds918 so that poor Celeron is not strong enough for multiple transcode. Direct play however works fine. /- 6 people direct play = 5-7% CPU.
Thanks in advance! Cheeeers audio transcode
