How to use a Plex server outside of network without enabling UPnP

Post Body

Hello everyone, thank you for showing interest in this post. I currently have an issue. I set up a Plex server on my apartment's network, and I want my friends to be able to access it.

I use the internet that comes included with my apartment because it is fiber and it's included in rent. Overall great service. Unfortunately, the network does not have UPnP enabled, so remote access for the Plex server does not function outside of the network. I see I can port forward manually, but since it is not my network I can access settings to, I cannot add that.

Do you have any suggestions or other options I can use? Currently I am able to connect to the server on my xbox connected to my TV, but I want people to be able to access it outside of my network. Any help is appreciated.
