Post Body

New to plex, liked the ui and seamlessness it seemed like it would provide, however it keeps transcoding mkv to mpegts, as well as hevc 4k to h264 4k which is absolutely killing my cpu
It's streaming to plex for vidaa on a Hisense 65A66GAVT
I can use my tv's content streaming function to stream the movies/shows as hevc so the tv accepts the format i would think? is there something im doing wrong or can change in setting off the top of your heads? thanks! :)
