Post Body

Hey all! Maybe be a simple/dumb question, but I have recently gotten a larger TB external hard drive to store all my media on. I currently have a smaller one that most of my Plex library is on. My question is, if I name the new HD the same as the old one, will Plex recognize it as the same source or will it think it’s new and I’ll have to re-add all my media? I ask because I have a lot of movies and some shows that are either home movies or fan-edits that I have customized over time, and want to know if I’ll have to re-do all those customizations or if it will recognize it as the same video file. Thanks in advance!
