Split screen multiplayer / 2nd controller capabilities.

Let's say the tv is in use and Person A is on the portal. Person B who was using the tv has now finished and would like to join Person A playing playstation.

So you switch the TV to the correct HDMI therefore there are now have two screens mirroring the same image.

Now I understand the Portal user would be player 1, but my question is:

Can Person B login as player 2 and the portal still continue to work?

I guess in a way split screen gamin🤷

Essentially I'd just want to be able to continuing using portal as a controller as opposed to having to turn it off then getting my actual controller etc etc etc.

I hope I've made sense.
