Leave answers in the comments. To get you started, I was thinking Red Faction 1/2/Guerilla which all have pretty good multiplayer. Guerilla with 8 people is one of the finest multiplayer experiences around, but sadly it's very rare that you can get a decent game of it now. This kind of environment seems ideal!

EDIT: A slightly crazier idea: How about playing some DS/PSP/Console games online as well? If I remember correctly, there are several great DS games online, for example LOZ:Phantom Hourglass, Castlevania and Mario Kart, along with several DSiWare games. Here's a full list.
