Cloud recording extra video

I am using PlayOn Cloud to record Veep from Hulu. All the episodes are less than 30 minutes (29 to be exact), and yet the recording for every episode is about 38-40 minutes. Where are all these extra 9 to 11 minutes coming from? It's not from the PlayOn intro and end that says where it's recorded, because that's only a few seconds.
