So with the recent patch, status potentiator perks were now supposed to not only increase the status build up rate, but also increase damage dealt by any attack with that status. But this seems to not be the case.

I tested the difference between 2 Hivemind Swords for Hawkeye. They both have cosmic status and the stats are virtually the same. One has Faultless Jarvis Barrier while the other has Cosmic Potentiator.

My ranged piece shoots cosmic razor arrows, so it's easy enough for me to compare the damage. The sword with the potentiator has 4 less Precision, but with the potentiator perk, my cosmic razor arrow should be doing more damage. It's actually doing slightly less damage.

I then tried using only my Split Shot and light melee combo finisher; the attacks being granted cosmic damage by both Hivemind Swords. This time, there was more damage being dealt when the sword with the potentiator was equipped.

So in summary, it seems that the potentiator perks don't work with ANY attack dealing the same status. It seems they only work for attacks on the same piece, which means you probably won't get the added damage if you have the potentiator perk on a defensive or heroic piece. Has anyone else found the same results when doing any testing of their own?
