Post Body

So I have set up my first planted tank. I currently have two led bulbs lighting the tank. I wanted to improve my lighting but I'm a little confused. Multiple online sources say you can use any old led bulb and to use 2-5 watts per gallon. Other sources say to use full spectrum. This is a low tech tank and I'm not really looking for crazy fast growth. Can I get away with just plain led daylight bulbs? If so, when it comes to wattage is where I get confused. All these bulbs say "...watt equivalent" So say a bulb is 75 watt equivalent, 13.5 actual watts, which wattage do I go by? Thanks!!
