Ok guys reaching out here because ive tried everything i know so far and this stuff keeps coming back TANK: 38 gal (36x12x19) Finnex Planted 24/7, Pressurized CO2 @ 8-10 BPS
WHAT I HAVE TRIED 1) Upping CO2 went from 5bps to 10... basically the limit anything past that my fish start gasping 2)Hydrogen Peroxide treatment: 5mL syringe and some H2O2 now this does kill it noticably but it seems to resurface in a mat if not removed quickly 3) the good ol cut n scrub: cut out all leaves and plants covered in algae and scrubbed down rocks with a toothbrush and or a mechanics detailing brush (depending on stubbornness)
ive tried all these things in different orders and at different intensities, next thing im trying at behest of my old manager when i worked at my LFS is to LOAD this thing down with plants I.E. Staurogyne carpet, any crypt that will fit, a couple swords (Kliener Bar and something called "ruby red" from a regional nursery) , and a MFT of Java Fern, possibly a few stem plants but im picky about those. BUT i would love any more ideas or methods people try that have worked or even youve just heard about because this is driving me batty! THANK YALL
