Tips to prevent algae overtaking moss?

Post Body
I’ve often had bad luck with BBA and staghorn algae targeting and overtaking moss in the past. Specially Christmas moss…idk if it’s because it’s a slow growing moss strain and so it’s easier for algae to get a hold on.
These are fast growing strains, I’ve got nicrew lights (8 hrs a day), and I’m dosing Aquarium co-op Easy Green fert twice a week now.
