Is it only cruciferous vegetables that can clean and open arteries back up?
Post Body

Hi there, I'm not sure if this sub is the best place to ask this but you guys all seem friendly and helpful.

About 6 months back I was told by the doctor that my blood pressure was far too high (180/120) and reluctantly had to go on meds to help reduce it. I say reluctantly as after watching several PB documentaries such as Forks over knives I was convinced that I could tackle the issue naturally and without meds.

Cut forward 6 months and my blood pressure is still very high, on average around 155/95. I haven't been hugely consistent but am now sick and tired of feeling like crap and having a constant buzzing and beating in my head so I'm hellbent on doing this consistently but also in the best way possible to help my health.

I absolutely love vegetables, fruit, oats and have never liked dairy so the only thing I need to stop is eating junk and cut down on the booze - my problem is that I really do dislike cruciferous vegetables, are these the only foods are efficient at cleansing and opening the arteries back up? I really hope not as the thought of piles of cabbage and broccoli turns my stomach - give me a big bowl of avocado, tomato, beetroot, spring onion and sweetcorn with a splash of balsamic any day of the week though.

Is anyone else here successfully reversing heart health issues without cruciferous vegetables?
