Will this still be okay to eat?
Post Body

Hi! Sorry if this isn't the right sub but I thought you guys would have the most experience.

Cooked some plant based meatballs (pea protein) last night, put them all in a sauce, had half for dinner and put half with the remaining sauce in a tupperware container to cool. The lid was slightly ajar to let the steam out, it definitely was not closed and sealed.

8ish hours go by, realize I forgot to put the tupperware in the fridge so they were in the ajar container on the side overnight.

Will these still be okay to microwave later or no? I know if they were meat DEFINITELY not but I'm not sure where other food falls in the rules.

Thanks!
