Currently with NSO, devs don't really have to worry about NPE, since 99.99% of NSO are just older players who started playing bots for one reason or another.
If they choose to give new players NSO, without any NSO outfits (and not even being able to join outfits), will cause many new fNSO players to feel lost in the game. Imagine you started playing in an environment where not only you have no idea what is going on (aka what every new player faces), but also lack of outfits at all for you. Without outfits as an in-game solution to teaching new members how to play the game, are fNSOs just expected to ask outside of it?
Just keep NSO outfits for fNSOs and allow faction specific NSOs to still play in their own NSO outfits, but allow transfers to other outfits if need be.
The entire reason I reference the NPE of NSO is because it is going f2p, and honestly many new players will look at cool robot manz and want to join it. I don't want any possible new players on NSO to just quit because of lack of viable NPE for them due to lack of outfits. I hope DBG keeps NSO outfits alive to keep the few communities that were built.
