Forget outfit wars.
Post Body

Basically the title. I am a proud supporter of playing and getting involved in outfit wars, but it is really difficult for me to keep supporting it when the format draws attention away from the base game.

Almost every single outfit wars match is a bad match. I know that is a crazy assumption, but almost all matches besides the top 3 are absolute dog ****, with them just having a no show, having a double team, cheating, or another scandal. Outfit wars is amazing to play in, but it doesn't help the game grow or benefit new players. I believe what the dev team should do is really focus on the NPE and on bugs and glitches since these are the main problem with the game. Coming into this game as a new player is extremely confusing, and a few years ago when I began playing I ended up just quitting since the game didn't explain anything to me well enough.

To improve the NPE the dev team should hardcore rework the tutorial, but then also explain what everything does and is, meaning having an optional tutorial for flying, tanking, etc, so then new players learn about these things.

Overall, outfit wars are fun and cool, but it doesn't really solve the core problems of PS2. I don't think OW is as bad as other players do, but you can't have OW without solving core issues of the game (aka you can't frost a cake if the basic batter is absolute trash).

(Note, forgot to mention the hacking problem on Soltech. This really needs to be fixed. I am not a player on this server, however since hacking is so prevalent it makes OW really difficult to manage over there anyways, helping my belief that the dev team should focus on improving the game itself rather than on OW)

EDIT: Just wanted to clarify some of my beliefs in this. I enjoyed playing in OW, and I am not saying that it has negatively impacted the game (more positively imo), but the devs can't fully focus on OW and put everything on the backburner for it.

The title and the belief of "remove OW" or to "forget OW" is more of an exaggerated version of a belief I have. I more just want the devs to lighten the fuel on OW, and put those resources into working on the game and the NPE. The game won't ever become the next Fortnite, but growth will allow the devs to do more things that will further improve the game (due to more money and what not).
