Is this orbiting attack a new exploit for the cheaters?
Post Body

Tonight I was on Emerald, fighting as NC in one of those bases that is similar to a watchtower (I don't remember what continent or what base it was). Suddenly I was high in the air above the base. I fell to my death and got the "STOP KILLING YOURSELF" message. I respawned at the base and the same thing happened. So I started watching carefully to find a clue as to what was happening. Right after I respawned, I saw an object appear under my feet. It looked like the red baseplate of a TR gun emplacement. It was wobbling and moving around under my feet, and then I was launched into the stratosphere and I fell to my death again. I managed to move up to the top level of the watchtower, and the object kept appearing under my feet, but all it did was crash me into the ceiling. I dropped back down to the spawn room, then it could launch me into orbit again. I quickly changed to a Light Assault, and then it could still orbit me, but I could use my jets to come to a soft landing, so I didn't die after that. I flew to another base and the attacks stopped.

I never did see exactly what the object was, other than it looked like a piece of a component from Planetside 2 and it had red on it. Crouching down didn't help, and I couldn't run away from it. For some reason it made me think of that problem years ago where people were creating huge piles of gun turrets and other pieces of the game. When I flew up into the air, it wasn't like I was slowly accelerated and then came to a stop. Instead, I was instantly teleported to such a great height that I couldn't see anything at all. Then my arms would start to flail as I fell, and within a few seconds I could see the tops of buildings again. There was no hints about who was doing it - all I saw was "STOP KILLING YOURSELF," so somehow the game thought I had orbited myself on purpose.

Next time it happens I will try to make a video.
