Help! "Fail Fast Exception" error, now game won't launch

Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone can help me, as Frontier takes 72 hours to get back to you.

I was closing the game earlier, and I got a Windows error message that said, "A fail fast exception occurred." A bit later, I tried to open the game, and now it won't launch. The grey "Preparing to launch Planet Coaster" window appears, but it disappears after a few seconds and nothing happens.

I'm using a recently bought Alienware gaming PC. I have well beyond the recommended specs for the game.

I have tried rebooting Windows and Steam many times. My graphic card (Nvidia) drivers all up to date. Windows is all up to date. Steam and the game are all up to date. I have validated my files in Steam as well.

Can anyone help me understand how to get the game to launch?
