I'm trying to get my new Pixel Watch on my LTE Network (T-Mobile/Sprint) and i'm running into issues. I've chatted Google Support and have contacted my carrier. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue.
My account has been Sprint, and hasn't migrated to TMobile yet, tho all my phones are on the TMobile network.
When I go to add the IMEI number to my account as a new line, it is telling me it is incompatible. But if I search the IMEI number on the TMobile Site, it tells me it IS compatible.
This is what my carrier support told me was the reason:
The device is not eligible cause:
>Unsupported foreign Android Model
>Either Android or Apple device may have been purchased Internationally instead of Domestically. Sprint does not support Internationally purchased phones.
>Apple device is incompatible on the Sprint Network. Some incompatible T-Mobile / AT&T models include โiPhone 5C, 5S, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus & Xโ
Which, is very weird. Because they're selling the watches in their store. I purchased mine from the Google Store.
More details: I called customer support and they were unable to force an activation with it.
