Battery Drain on 6A

I have tried a bunch of stuff, but cannot seem to figure it out. Seems like my apps that are open... even when not using them...are draining battery like crazy.
I sent maybe 1-2 texts, and messages accounts for 15% of my battery usage in past 24 hours.
Voice recorder running for maybe 10 minutes and it says running for 10 hours.
Has anyone else experienced this? I came from Pixel 3a
