I bought an unlocked Pixel 4a a couple years ago. I originally used it with AT&T and switched to Mint in June. Have had zero issue up until the phone until I woke up after an update 3 days ago and I no longer have data/voice/mms service. I have talked to Mint multiple times and have a new sim. I talked to google tech support and did all of the troubleshooting and still haven't fixed the issue. I did a bunch of research and found that Androids, but mostly Pixels, at random stop functioning with Mint. There are several threads showing how to update the APN. I have tried every one that I have come across. None of them have fixed the issue. So my question is if you have a 4a and are on Mint, have you had the issue yet and if so, how have you fixed it? If it is from setting up a new APN, what are your settings?
Edit: I just tried another Mint SIM that was working in a Pixel 6 Pro. Still the same issue. Either it was unfortunate timing and my modem died at the same time as the firmware update, or the firmware update killed it. Either way the phone is dead.
