Welcome Week Activities - Sign Up?

I'm assuming for some of the events, such as the fair, pep rally, and thrift sale, you can just show up to them and go about your way. But for the other ones, like the tours and the virtual events, do I have to sign up somewhere? And if so, where? I found the pdf online of the list but no info on actually signing up. Maybe I'm just overthinking things, but some guidance from an upperclassman would help. Also if there are any activities you think are totally unmissable, please lmk!
