Hi all, heavy flooding is expected for the city this weekend. There is also risk of landslides in numerous places. I imagine if you live in panther hollow or on a hill, you should be on alert. I expect the corner at bouquet and Dawson will flood as will Bates at the boulevard.
These are the levels of water that cause closures and/or flooding:
22 ft: 10th street bypass floods. This has already happened.
25 ft: the bathtub (parkway underpass) closes.
28 ft: The Wood Street T station facilities are impacted. Fort Pitt Boulevard is closed.

I believe PennDOT controls closures of the roads, not the city. I might be wrong.
Current forecasts have the cresting at around 26ft but it could be more. Keep this in mind as you plan your commutes!
