I don't hate Aubrey as a character. However I feel Aubrey is consistently let off the hook for being really shitty. Like, I'm all for everyone on the team being just super gay, my preference acually, but the no treble boning rule is kinda gross and she kicks 2 poor girls out of the group for it. She body shames a lot, ignores Chloe and is just trash to Beca. Also I never understood the Beca needs to really apologize for shaking up the routine. She didn't seem to plan it and they were 100% gonna loose, regardless. Like, it was a hail mary that didn't work. However fics at most have Aubrey be given the cold shoulder for a few days and then everything is fine. Not saying she should grovel or such, but feels there should be more fallout. Like, if dating Stacie in the fic, maybe Stacie wants time apart. Or The other bella decide to just, quit in protest. Maybe the dean gets involved because she broke campus rules because the sex thing is definitely in violation of some rules.
