Pit Boss 1150 using wood chunks on top of charcoal
Post Body

So I ran across a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyf3368h6iE “how to get stick burner smoke on a pellet smoker” has anyone tried this test seems like it would be good to do when wanting the strong Texas style smoke flavor. So he basically says to get a deep smoker box ignite 3-4 charcoal briquettes then once they’re white put 3-4 chunks of wood on top of the charcoal close the top put it in the back left side so the smoke goes across whatever you’re cooking to escape out the smoke stack supposed to last 2-3 hrs which is when 99% of smoke is absorbed. Any thoughts?
