Free 500 series vertical smoker stuck auger.

So I got a free vertical 5 series copperhead smoker last weekend the guy said the auger stopped working. I was able to get the auger box unscrewed from the bottom but I can't get the motor off or turn it by hand. Unlike most every other video I've seen the pin that holds the motor onto the auger is inside the pellet tube as opposed to outside by the motor. Obviously since I can't turn it I can't remove the pinnot sure if I just need to get a whole new auger box component or not.
