I purchased a PitBoss Vertical Pro Series smoker from Lowes on 07/02/23 and later than same day while using it for the first time I noticed that the paint around the glass door was bubbled up or fish eyed I think it is called. This is clearly a painting manufacturing defect not some other type of damage, so I figured that PitBoss would own up to it and help out. NOPE! they informed me today that they won't cover paint issues even though this is clearly their fault, I even sent them a picture. They told me to take it back to Lowes. Not wanting to pack up a 175lb smoker I call Lowes first and the associate said since it's a manufacturing issue to go through PitBoss, after explained that PitBoss told me to take it back to Lowes the associate said to take a picture and bring it in then MAYBE the manager will give me a discount. This is absurd absolutely horrible customer service on the part of PitBoss. What can I do other than hope Lowes at least gives me a discount?
