I'm going through some kind of /r/digitalhoarding project to make some proper backups of my game collection, going through my Gog and Humble collection, downloading and all that stuff.
The thing is that I've been thinking on doing the proper thing with the Steam collection (at least the games that are worth it), but the Steam DRM is an (obvious) block in the process, for which "getting the crack for the game" seems to be the obvious solution.
Now, I heard somewhere else in reddit that "cracking Steam DRM is an easy thing" but I'm expecting this to not be true, so I'm asking around here.
There's somewhere where I could look into it and it should be something someone with a development background (although not at low level) could pull off? It is possible these days to just download the crack like in the old times of game copy world? (Is that website still up?) Its better to just download the game, take the crack and forget about it?
