DDJ-1000 - side of jog wheel to control phase but not pitch?

Post Body

I just recently purchased a DDJ-1000 and am fairly new to it and rekordbox (I’m an old school vinyl DJ finally making the transition to digital).

I want to keep the top of the platter on vinyl mode for dropping in the beat, but when I’m adjusting the phase/timing using the side of the jog wheel, I want to control the timing of the track so that I can put things in phase, but NOT the pitch.

In other words, when I nudge the track forwards or backwards in time I don’t want to hear that little ‘pitch squeal’ up or down like you would with vinyl.

I’m pretty sure I recall there being a setting for this but I thought I’d ask you first!

Thanks in advance for any information!
