I got an email today which says that a user reported something about a copyright infringement against a random Pin that I had saved a long time ago to a board (I donât even know when that was). I never even made the Pin myself either. I just randomly saw it one day and saved it as a new pin to a board. I donât remember if I ever even saved it to my deviceâs camera roll.
I donât particularly care about the specific picture they are worried about, but Pinterest sent me an email about it and says that there was a âhybrid deactivationâ filed for it and that the content access is now disabled.
It also states that I âdid not receive a strike for repeat infringer policy.â
What do I do here? Should I just ignore it or talk to Pinterest about this? I do see the reporting userâs information as well in the email though.
