This year I got to talk to more people
And in an effort to find you
I got to know myself a little better
It made me realize
As much as I would love to find you
I still have dreams to chase
Places to explore
People to meet
A life to build
I often wonder
If we ever cross paths
Would I recognize you?
Will I be able to take care of you?
I hope we cross paths at the right time
By then
I'll make you laugh when you need it
I hope to comfort you when times are rough
And if we cannot find each other in this life
I hope to find you in the next one
