Eyoo!! Your boi's got into college na. i took informatiom technology and i'm planning to step-up my game sa classmates ko but i don't really want to be competitive. it's just that i feel like i'm behind sa kanila since most of them took ict strand while ako naman is stem noong shs.
i'm currently taking this course from edX which is yung introduction to computer science. i think goods siya na first learning resources ko to study dince introductory. pero what do you guys think? should i learn programming languages na ba like C or Python? or should i stick muna sa compsci course na to until i finish it?
we didn't have coding subjects nung shs so like i literally have no idea how to code if i don't watch these courses. i studied html and css but basics lang knows ko. can't build a website na super ganda 'cause basics nga lang.
i have this plan nga pala na as i learn these languages after ko ma-learn yung introduction to compsci i'm planning to do exercises like building websites or projects to my github acc but i have no idea now kung how siya i-use pero i probably would figure it out sa future. the reason why i wanna start github and make projects there is because i'd read something here na it's good for making portfolios (am i right, pls correct me).
right now, we are still in adjustment period(i'm from pup btw) and hinahagilap pa namim profs namin so i still have time, it's just that i'm doubting sa choices ko on where should i start and am i in the right track sa inaaral ko (self-study) do you guys have advices on what to study first esp if i wanna build projects in my college yeaea which is like 4 yrs.
