Is BSCpE (BS Computer Engineering) a marketable course in the country?

Im planning to take BSCpE and major into Machine Learning or Data Science, and since I am into Hardware and Software, particularly Electronics, IT, and Programming. However, the school that I wanna study at (TIP QC) also offers BSECE. My peers suggest choosing BSECE because of the PRC Board Exam but I'm thinking that it might be also a waste of time if ill go into the field of computer engineering later on.

Is BSCpE a highly sought course in the country? Have you regret taking it (if youre a CpE)? Is the pay good in the starting level? Should I still pursue BSCpE or choose ECE instead?
