I am a career shifter. 2019, I graduated as an ECE and passed the board exam. 2020, pandemic happened, medyo naghayahay kaya walang work. I taught in a public high school that year for some reason. After a year, nagresign ako agad because di ko talaga nafeel ang teaching.
2022 I'm jobless and pursued career na inignore ko kasi I'm afraid to take. Nagcocode na ako since High School but I did not take into consideration ang programming.
May napasukan akong company na nag ooffer ng bootcamp kapalit ng years of employment bond. Kinagat ko because I thought, sino bang maghahire ng kagaya ko na walang experience sa programming? Now, I'm frustrated sa decision ko dahil hindi ganun ka-competitive ang sweldo compared to other IT companies.
Magwa-1 year na ako and so far eto mga natutunan and experience ko.
Bootcamp: Angular Framework and .NET for Backend. Also trained for ExpressJS, NodeJS, MS SQL, MySQL, AWS DynamoDb, Lambda, S3.
Experiences:
Developed a website na based sa isang hindi sikat na CMS and gumagawa lang kami ng templates.
Developing websites based on Angular Framework.
api based on Express, Node, and dineploy serverless sa AWS (actually, training lang to)
Yes, yan lang kasi ang daming resources pero inefficiently utilized.
Anyways, I really don't know how to start. Better ba na maghanap sa mga established freelancing site like upwork? or anywhere else?
I really need na makaipon-ipon. Any tips? May you share how you started with your freelancing journey? Badly needed huhu.
Hello sa mga makakakilala sa akin based sa story hahaha. Thanks in advance sa mga magcocomment. :)
