Whatever happened to the good old days?

Im sure this is a common feeling amongst players, but does anyone miss not having to micro manage their phone whilst out on a walk?
These new flower wheel events are so demanding I feel like if im not actively managing my planting I’ll miss out on big flowers, waste petals or spend my time inefficiently.
I WANT the decor pikmin but I HATE having to walk around with my head buried in my phone. Not to mention it’s just a nasty habit that I feel Nintendo ACTIVELY promotes players don’t do 😂
