App Won’t Count My Steps

Heya all
Recently got a new iPhone 14 and got everything transferred a cross, including Pikmin. However when I try to play on my new phone it refuses to register any steps, despite flowers planting and seeds growing and expeditions go and returning.
Now I’ve followed all the helpful little steps that Nintendo has suggested but to no avail, so I’m sorta hoping someone else might have something este I can try
