I haven't tasted the pickles yet, made them 2 days ago. However, I have tasted the final brine and it was decent. . I'll share the recipie. It's an idea I've been wanting to try for a while and finally did it. A simple brine with a pint of lagunitas. I'll have to play around with ratios more, I believe the beer flavor doesn't come through enough for me but it's present for sure!
As for the slim Jim's, it's more novelty than anything. Think, slim Jim with a hint of a pickle flavor, and that's what it taste like. They aren't bad but I could live without them and I'm sure I won't buy then anymore.
