My 1st Pickle Batch

Just made my 1st batch. The cukes (obviously) quartered, in a 1qt jar, 4 garlic cloves (smashed), handful of dill, tablespoon of seasalt and a teaspoon of sugar...then 50/50 water and distilled vinegar (cold, not boiled; we want them crispy) 4-5days in fridge until ready and bam....mouthgasm (pardon my nsfw toward food tendencies)
