Beginner with the bug

What’s up everyone, I recently caught the pickleball fever and all I want to do is play now. Only thing is, I’m kind of shy, and not very confident in my skill level to walk up and play with regulars. I drive from ga to Tampa a few times a week and I’m always looking for a new court to practice on if nothing else. I figured surely I can find someone to play with along the way. Or maybe point me in the right direction or give me advice on how to just walk up and what to do. Thanks in advance
