I’ve had numerous people on the courts telling me I need a better paddle. What’s funny is these are all people I have smoked on the court. One guy basically told me I was poor because he had a $250 paddle. He even insisted I try his paddle out so I could experience a REAL paddle 🤣🤣🤣
What is up with this behavior? Are people that insecure they think they have status because of the paddle they use?
For reference, I use a Holbrook paddle that I got for $95 on sale and play at a 4.0 level.
Maybe they thought you have greater potential with a paddle that either has more power or more control. I know I wouldn't play as well without my $300 paddle.
